Application Engineer

We are looking for an Application Engineer to help turn advanced power semiconductor devices into working high-density power delivery solutions. This role will focus on system-level verification, reference design development, evaluation board design, power circuit testing, thermal and EMI debugging, and customer/application demonstration.

The Application Engineer will work at the bridge between device R&D, packaging, and customer-facing activities. The role is both design-oriented and testing-oriented, requiring strong hands-on capability in power electronics, lab measurement, board-level debugging, and practical system validation.

Skills/Experience

• Experience in high-density power delivery systems, reference designs, evaluation boards, circuit simulation, PCB design, double-pulse testing, thermal design, EMI debugging, demo systems, and application notes is preferred.
• Familiarity with LTspice, SolidWorks, COMSOL, Altium, oscilloscopes, or related tools is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

1. Develop and evaluate power electronic circuits and systems, including AC/DC, DC/DC and other high-density power conversion platforms.
2. Support the development of reference designs, evaluation boards, demo boards, and application demonstration platforms.
3. Conduct circuit simulation, PCB design, component selection, board-level debugging, and system-level verification.
4. Prepare test reports and technical presentations.
5. Assist in the drafting of application notes, user guides, and customer-facing technical materials.
6. Provide feedback based on system-level test results and customer application needs.

Job Requirements

1. Strong hands-on capability in power electronics design, testing, and debugging.
2. Good understanding of power converters, gate driving, PCB design, and EMI management.
3. Ability to translate device-level performance into system-level value.
4. Practical lab skills and comfort working with high-power / high-voltage test setups.
5. Startup mindset with ownership, speed, and willingness to solve practical engineering problems.
