Application Engineer

LEO Middle East FZE is looking for a motivated Application Engineer to join our growing technical team in Dubai.

This position is suitable for a Mechanical Engineering graduate or a young engineer who is interested in developing a long-term career in pumps, water supply systems and fluid handling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Select suitable pumps and pumping systems according to customer and project requirements.
• Perform basic hydraulic calculations and pump selection.
• Prepare technical quotations, pump selection sheets, technical submittals and product documentation.
• Review project specifications and identify suitable products and technical solutions.
• Provide technical support to the sales team, distributors, contractors and customers.
• Communicate with consultants and contractors regarding technical requirements.
• Support project teams during product selection, approval and execution.
• Coordinate with LEO’s factory and technical departments on product and application issues.
• Continuously develop knowledge of pumps, motors, hydraulic systems and water supply applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1–3 years of relevant engineering experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of fluid mechanics, pumps, motors and hydraulic systems is preferred.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred.
