Application Engineer – Pumps

We’re looking for an Application Engineer (Pumps) to support projects in the petrochemical and refining industries. You’ll be responsible for engineering, specifying, and selecting rotating equipment , preparing proposals, and managing project inquiries to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Pump sizing & selection based on process data (pressures, flow rates, temperatures).
• Proposal development — prepare quotations, RFQs, and technical documentation.
• Customer support — troubleshoot issues, provide technical assistance, and maintain strong relationships.
• CAD design & documentation — support with 2D/3D drawings and specifications.
• Project coordination — manage multiple inquiries, deadlines, and delivery schedules.

Requirements

• 4/5+ years minimum of relevant industrial pump / rotating equipment experience.
• Hands-on experience with industrial pumps , including pump sizing, selection and specification based on operating/process conditions.
• Experience reviewing customer RFQs, technical specifications and equipment requirements .
• Experience preparing or supporting technical quotations and proposals for pumps/rotating equipment.
• Strong understanding of pump applications and hydraulic principles , including flow, head, NPSH and pump performance.
• Experience supporting customers within petrochemical, refining, chemical, oil & gas or similar process-industry environments .
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret equipment/process specifications and technical documentation .
• Strong customer-facing communication and technical problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer/industrial sites and participate in after-hours/on-call support when required .
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) and able to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
