Application Engineer

该职位来源于猎聘 Position Summary Application Engineer is the basic level position for contributing in the ZEISS Geometric Metrology Application Service field. The job holder will receive professional internal trainings and on-the-job practices for competence building. In addition to successfully delivering all kinds of application services including Demo, Customer Training, Contract Measurement, Onsite Support and Application Solution to internal and external customers, this role will also take on aftersales business development responsibilities, leveraging technical expertise to identify sales opportunities, drive incremental revenue and foster long-term customer partnerships. Main Tasks

Duties And Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• To serve internal customer:

Responsible for new machine pre-sale support and various tasks fulfillment in assigned application direction under minimum coaching.

• To serve external customer:

Responsible for application service proposal and various tasks fulfillment for aftermarket customers under necessary coaching.

• To solve problem: Responsible for various application problem solving for internal/external customer in assigned application directions under minimum coaching.
• Actively fitting him/herself into company culture and value, explore individual way of self-realization during onboarding and entire career journey with ZEISS.
• Successfully fulfill application service tasks like: Demo, Customer Training, Contract Measurement, Onsite Support and Application Solution to our internal and external customer.
• To drive after-sales business growth: Proactively identify and qualify aftersales opportunities within assigned customer accounts, including but not limited to software upgrades, valueadded application services and and strive to achieve assigned after-sales revenue targets.
• To deliver market insights: Collect and feedback after-sales market intelligence, competitor dynamics and customer business requirements to support regional business strategy and service optimization. Requirements Education
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Optical Engineering, Master is preferred, Bachelor is minimum. Experience
• 1-3yrs relevant working experience of Geometric Metrology or Quality Inspection.
• CMMs experience is preferred.
• Prior experience in after-sales business development, technical sales or key account management in the industrial equipment or metrology industry is a strong plus. Other skills
• CET4 or above.
• Fast and proactive learner.
• Customer oriented, Result oriented.
• Open mind, teamwork and self-motived.
• Able to travel frequently on domestic business trips
• Strong business awareness with the ability to translate customer technical needs into commercial opportunities.
• Solid communication and negotiation skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders at customer sites.
