Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers to capture technical requirements, decompose demands and organize solutions. Translate customer technical requirements into standardized technical documents and quantified parameters, generate technical specifications and solution checklists, and coordinate reviews with internal R&D/engineering teams.
• Assist in on-site installation, commissioning and trial run of equipment/products for projects. Act as an on-site technical consultant to deliver technical briefings and operation guidance for customers to ensure smooth on-site delivery.
• Receive after-sales technical inquiries from customers, perform fault localization and technical analysis, provide technical solutions, follow up until issue closure, and issue after-sales technical reports. Collect customer feedback and share insights internally for product or process optimization.
• Take part in pre-sales technical communications and Q&A. Cooperate with sales team to prepare technical proposals, conduct sample tests and perform on-site technical assessments.
• Maintain technical relationships with customers, summarize customer technical pain points and demand trends, feed back information to support product iteration.
• Archive technical documents including on-site commissioning records, failure reports, customer technical parameter files, etc.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in application or technical support for industrial equipment / connectors / automation supporting products; candidates with on-site customer commissioning experience are preferred.
• Proficient in writing technical documentation, capable of sorting out, quantifying and digitizing customer requirements, and able to read engineering drawings and technical parameters.
• Accept short-term business trips; strong hands-on skills with ability to independently complete on-site commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills, good at customer interface, and mindset for closing customer issues. Experience serving foreign enterprise customers is preferred.
