Student Placement Programme
After a dynamic onboarding experience, you'll dive straight into delivering hands-on training sessions and supporting customers via our technical helpdesk.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team of expert engineers, solving real-world design challenges and helping users get the most out of SOLIDWORKS.

Placement Programme Details
At Solid Solutions, you’ll gain practical experience, build lasting connections, and work on meaningful projects from day one. You’ll be part of a culture that values flexibility, innovation, and inclusivity where your ideas matter and your growth is supported.

Qualification: Currently studying Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, General Engineering, Aerospace or Automotive Engineering, or a related subject, and eligible for a placement year.

Placement Type: 12 - 14 Months Available

Location: Opportunities available across our UK and Ireland offices, including, Leamington Spa, Furness Vale, Chepstow, Fareham, Leeds, Sheffield, Durham, Chilton, Belfast, and Dublin.

What You'll Get
Salary & Benefits
Salary - £25,000 per year

Full SOLIDWORKS training and industry-recognised certifications (including CSWA and CSWP), with your own Professional Development Manager.
