Application Engineer (Mechatronic)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demo our robots at events and customer sites; create short training videos and clear tech notes.
• Work with Sales team to qualify opportunities, benchmark solutions, and close deals.
• Build winning proposals by designing technical proposal that wow customers, demonstration, application POC, support tender, deliver product training, handle testing and commissioning of robotics and industrial automation products.
• Handle customer enquiries, analyse customer’s requirements, recommend the right solution for customer.
• Troubleshoot issues, manage escalations professionally, and keep customers happy; suggest ways to improve our support.
• Keep learning (AI, IoT, robotics, industrial automation, cloud integration) and share knowledge with the team.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Robotics/Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Experience in technical support (training, presentation, demo, commissioning, project management). Fresh grads are welcome.
• Working experience in the related semiconductor/electronics manufacturing exposure; embedded systems or industrial automation would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in programming and system integration skills; cloud integration is a plus.
• Good communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex tech in simple words. Technical writing is an advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess own transport, willing to travel locally and occasionally overseas.
