Application Engineer – Mold

Job Overview

We are looking for an Application Engineer – Mold with a strong interest in CAD/CAM software and mold design & manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, software demonstrations, customer training, implementation assistance, and troubleshooting for Cimatron, Siemens NX, and CATIA.

The role involves close interaction with customers, Sales/Business Development teams, and technical teams to understand requirements and provide appropriate software-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Cimatron, Siemens NX, and CATIA CAD/CAM software.
• Understand customer design and manufacturing requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Conduct software demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer training programs.
• Assist customers with software installation, implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Visit customer sites for technical support, training, software deployment, and application assistance.
• Identify and resolve customer technical issues and coordinate with the internal technical team for timely solutions.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Business Development teams to support customer acquisition and business growth.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through continuous technical assistance and application support.
• Stay updated with the latest CAD/CAM/CAE technologies, mold design practices, industry trends, and software developments.
• Prepare technical documentation, training materials, application reports, and customer support reports as required.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Mold Design / Tool Design / Manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM software
• Interest or exposure to Cimatron, Siemens NX, CATIA will be an advantage
• Good technical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to travel to customer locations when required
• Ability to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions
• Strong willingness to learn new software and technologies

Preferred Candidates

Candidates from reputed technical institutes such as:

IGTR | CIPET | NTTF

Candidates with a 4-Year Advanced Diploma and relevant knowledge of mold/tool design and CAD/CAM applications are preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
