Application Engineer Packaging and Print

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Application Engineer to join our regional team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical and application support for our transfer products across the print and packaging industries. You will work closely with customers, local and regional sales teams to solve technical challenges, optimize product applications, and share your expertise through training and on-site support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducting and evaluating application-oriented technical trials of transfer products/ hot and cold stamping foils for the print and packaging industries.
• Technical support and consulting for customers concerning processing problems, including reporting, also at the customer's site.
• Advising sales departments on the use of transfer products.
• Training employees of the sales organization, both theoretically and practically.
• Participation in trade fairs.
• Technical support for machine partners.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Printing Technology, Printing Engineering, Packaging Technology, Graphic Arts, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields.
• 2+ years of operational experience in offset printing.
• Experience in flexographic printing desirable.
• High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel regionally on demand.
• Good command of English, both in writing as well as in speaking.
