Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer specializing in Motion Control and Industrial Automation. The role involves designing and implementing machine automation solutions, developing and integrating control systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting commissioning activities at customer sites.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in servo drives, servo motors, VFDs, PLCs, motion controllers, and industrial automation systems, along with strong customer interaction and technical problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

**1. Automation Solution Design**

• Design machine automation solutions using servo drives, motion controllers, PLCs, and industrial communication networks.
• Develop motion control concepts based on customer and OEM requirements.
• Evaluate technical feasibility and recommend suitable automation architectures.
• Define control topologies, communication protocols, and system integration strategies.

**2. Application Engineering & Customer Engagement**

• Interact with OEMs, customers, and sales teams to understand technical requirements.
• Conduct technical discussions, application reviews, and solution presentations.
• Prepare technical proposals and recommend suitable automation solutions.
• Provide technical support throughout solution development and customer evaluation.

**3. Software Development & System Integration**

• Develop, test, and validate application software for machine control systems.
• Integrate PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers, servo drives, and industrial communication systems.
• Optimize machine performance, functionality, and reliability.

**4. Commissioning & Troubleshooting**

• Support prototype development, system testing, commissioning, and machine startup.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, technical troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Resolve complex automation issues and support successful project implementation.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure customer acceptance.

**5. Technical Excellence & Knowledge Sharing**

• Develop reusable application standards and engineering best practices.
• Provide technical training to customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to improve solutions and share technical insights.

Must-Have Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Motion Control, Application Engineering, or Machine Automation.
• Strong extensive experience of:
• Motion Control Systems
• Servo Drives and Servo Motors
• Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• PLC Programming
• Motion Controllers
• Industrial Automation and Machine Control Systems
• Hands-on experience in commissioning, programming, hardware diagnostics, and system integration.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience generating technical reports and resolving application-related issues.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India, up to 80%.
• Strong customer interaction, technical communication, and problem-solving skills.
