Application Engineer (US Shared Services)

About the role

Designs, develops, integrates, tests, and maintains secure enterprise applications and digital workflows that address business and client needs. Translates user and system requirements into scalable software, APIs, interfaces, and integrations. Works with product, data, analytics, and AI teams to embed data and intelligent capabilities into usable production solutions. Supports the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, scalable internal and client-facing applications, services, APIs, and digital workflows.
• Gather and evaluate user, business, integration, and technical requirements and translate them into software designs and build plans.
• Perform coding, code review, testing, debugging, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate applications with enterprise systems, data services, analytics, and AI capabilities using APIs and approved integration patterns.
• Apply software engineering, security, documentation, source-control, and CI/CD practices to support reliable production operations.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Can work in a Hybrid environment in a Night-shift schedule
• 3 years of experience in software engineering, application development, or related technical roles.
• Knowledge of software architecture and design principles, application security, APIs/integration patterns, testing practices, and the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages and SQL; experience with REST APIs, databases, source control, and CI/CD.
• Experience with cloud application services, development frameworks, integrated development environments, and application monitoring tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and collaboration skills; ability to translate business requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
