The Opportunity

I'm partnering with a well-established, global water technology company looking to bring on an Application Engineer to join its growing industrial wastewater treatment business in Georgia.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys the technical side of equipment design and selection, but also wants to work directly with customers to develop solutions for complex industrial wastewater challenges.

You'll be working with a range of engineered treatment technologies, including Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) systems, supporting projects from initial customer inquiry through technical proposal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements and wastewater characteristics to develop appropriate treatment solutions.
• Perform engineering calculations to size and select wastewater treatment equipment.
• Support the design and application of DAF systems and associated process equipment.
• Develop technical proposals, equipment specifications, and quotations.
• Review and develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and equipment layouts.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to customers throughout the equipment selection and proposal process.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in applications engineering, process engineering, equipment design, or technical proposals.
• Understanding of industrial process equipment, fluid handling, pumps, hydraulics, or treatment systems.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and perform engineering calculations.
• Strong communication skills and an interest in customer-facing technical work.
• Experience with industrial wastewater treatment, DAF, clarification, or separation technologies is highly desirable.

We are open to engineers from adjacent industrial equipment backgrounds who have strong equipment sizing and technical applications experience.
