The position

We are looking for an Application Manager to oversee business-critical software used across clinical and hospitality operations. You will connect end users, internal IT teams, and technology partners while helping improve the organisation’s application landscape.

Your responsibilities

Ensure the reliable operation and continuous improvement of healthcare and hotel-management systems

Handle escalated application requests and provide second-level assistance to key users

Help employees use systems effectively through training, guidance, and practical documentation

Act as the main technical contact for third-party software vendors

Investigate system issues, coordinate corrective actions, and follow cases through to resolution

Prepare and validate software upgrades, patches, and new releases

Coordinate testing activities and support the introduction of new functionality

Lead IT and application-related projects from initial planning through implementation

Review business requirements and translate operational needs into workable system solutions

Your background

A qualification in medical informatics, business information systems, computer science, or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience

Relevant experience supporting and managing business applications

Alternatively:

A professional clinical background combined with strong digital skills and a clear interest in healthcare technology

A good understanding of clinical processes and the wider healthcare environment

What you bring

Familiarity with incident, problem, change, and release processes

Previous involvement in software testing or IT project delivery

Strong analytical thinking and the ability to develop practical solution concepts

A structured, dependable, and self-directed approach to work

Excellent coordination skills and a strong focus on internal customer service

Confidence communicating with users, technical teams, and external suppliers

Availability for occasional business travel

Professional fluency in both German and English
