🔒 Security Clearance: PSC required (active PSC is a strong advantage)

About the Role

We are looking for skilled Migration Engineers to support the assessment, modernization, and migration of business-critical applications into a secure migration environment. The role focuses on application discovery, dependency analysis, lift-and-shift migrations, and containerization initiatives to enable successful cloud and infrastructure transformation projects.

You will work closely with architects, infrastructure teams, and application owners to evaluate existing systems and define the best migration approach while maintaining security, stability, and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess existing applications and infrastructure to determine migration readiness.
• Perform application dependency mapping and technical impact assessments.
• Plan and execute lift-and-shift migrations into a secure migration sandbox environment.
• Support the containerization of applications using modern technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes .
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize application performance after migration.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, migration runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with security, operational, and governance requirements.
• Contribute to migration strategies, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

✅ Proven experience in application migration and infrastructure transformation projects

✅ Strong understanding of application architecture and dependency analysis

✅ Experience with lift-and-shift migration approaches

✅ Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar container platforms

✅ Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments

✅ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

✅ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

✅ Excellent communication skills in English (C1+)

• NATO nationality
• English C1 or higher
• Eligibility to obtain PSC security clearance

Nice to Have

• Active PSC Security Clearance
• Experience in cloud migration projects (Azure, AWS, or private cloud environments)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Experience in government, defense, or highly secure environments
• Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, Cloud, or DevOps technologies
