Application Modernization Lead-Azure

Responsibilities

• Leading software engineering teams in the development of innovative applications to drive digital transformation
• Guiding the design, coding, and testing of applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++
• Managing application modernization projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution
• Utilizing API management and microservices architecture to enhance application integration and performance
• Overseeing quality assurance testing and software troubleshooting to maintain application reliability
• Implementing continuous integration and delivery practices to streamline software development processes
• Collaborating with client support teams to address technical challenges and optimize user experiences
• Mentoring team members to develop skills in software development methodologies and application lifecycle management
• Promoting the adoption of enterprise application architecture and innovative technologies across projects
• Analyzing system interactions to identify opportunities for business process improvement and enhanced performance

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 8 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering

• Utilizing Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) for software projects

• Embracing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methodologies

• Developing applications using Java, Python, and C++ programming languages

• Managing API integrations and microservices architecture

• Leading teams in enterprise application architecture and integration

• Mentoring junior staff in software development and project management

• Must have expertise in Azure App service, .NET core, AKS, microservices, Azure Function, Service bus
