Application Security Automation Analyst

About the Role

IQVIA is seeking an Application Security Automation Analyst to join our global Information Security team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building automations, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions that improve security operations. We're looking for a developer, automation engineer, or DevOps professional who enjoys solving problems through code, APIs, cloud technologies, and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automations and integrations using Python and APIs.
• Build AI-powered workflows, agents, skills, and MCP integrations.
• Create integrations across security, cloud, and enterprise platforms.
• Develop cloud-based automation solutions using AWS Lambda and Azure Logic Apps.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps initiatives, and GitLab automation.
• Apply secure coding practices and secrets management.
• Create technical documentation and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with global teams across Security, DevOps, and Engineering.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Software Development, Automation Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
• Strong Python development skills.
• Experience with REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with JavaScript/Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda.
• Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, AI agents, and MCP concepts.
• Understanding of secure coding, credential management, and secrets handling.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Intermediate English or above.

Preferred Qualifications

• Terraform, Ansible, Snowflake, and SQL.
• Power Automate, n8n, or SOAR platforms.
• Exposure to Information Security and DevSecOps environments.
• AWS, Azure, Security+, or similar certifications.
