Role: Application Security Engineer

**Key Skills:**Application Security Engineer, AWS Security, IAM, SAST/DAST, Threat Modeling, API Security, OWASP, Burp Suite, Terraform, DevSecOps, Microservices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated secure code reviews and identify application vulnerabilities.
• Conduct threat modeling and secure architecture reviews for applications and microservices.
• Identify security risks across web applications, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
• Integrate and manage SAST, DAST and SCA tools within CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with development teams on vulnerability remediation and secure coding practices.
• Perform AWS security assessments, including IAM and least-privilege access reviews.
• Review application authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Support API security assessments and vulnerability remediation.
• Review security controls for cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Promote DevSecOps and Secure SDLC practices across engineering teams.
