Application Security Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments of web applications to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards (OWASP) and company policies.
• Develop and maintain documentation on application security testing procedures, including test plans, results, and mitigation strategies.
• Provide training sessions to developers on application security best practices, ensuring they understand the importance of secure coding principles.

Job Requirements :

• 3-8 years of experience in application security testing or related field.
• Strong understanding of OWASP guidelines and industry-standard methodologies for identifying vulnerabilities in web applications.
• Proficiency in conducting thorough reviews of codebases to identify potential security risks.
• Experience working with development teams to implement fixes for identified issues.
