Application specialist for ophthalmology – Become the face of ZEISS technology

For our ophthalmological team at ZEISS, we are looking for a colleague who will connect the world of high-tech with the operating room environment and care for our customers.

What will be your job description?

You will be a key partner for eye surgery. Your task will be to ensure that our technology and materials in the operating theatres do the perfect job.

• Professional support in operating theatres: You will be right at the center of the action – to assist with operations, set the parameters of the devices and supervise the smooth course of the procedures.

• Care for the complete portfolio of Zeiss ophthalmic devices: In addition to high-end devices, you will also be able to support the sale of consumables (e.g. intraocular lenses and other accessories). You will see to it that the hall has everything necessary for flawless performance.

• Education and mentoring: You will train doctors and non-medical staff to work with our technologies and consumables as efficiently as possible.

• Business partner: With your technical knowledge, you support the sales team in presentations, installations and sales opportunities development.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a colleague who not only has technical thinking, but also likes to communicate with people and has a pull on the goal.

• Technical education/relationship to technology: You understand devices, you can control them and explain their use to others. Education in biomedical engineering or optics is a great advantage. Active knowledge of the English language is also important.

• High Social Intelligence: You will move around in an environment where stress prevails. You need to be able to communicate with calm, empathy and respect for medical and non-medical staff.

• Proactive approach: You can recognize the needs of the clinic and recommend appropriate supplements or consumables that will improve the results of operations.

• Adaptability: The operating room environment requires discipline, purity and the ability to react quickly.

• SŠ / VŠ education in health care• Basic orientation in ophthalmology• Knowledge of operating room environment• Active knowledge of English• Driving license sk. B (active driver)
