What they need

Made for Patients. Made for Partnerships. Made for you.

For more than 100 years, Canon Medical has been at the cutting edge of diagnostic imaging, creating healthcare solutions that improve people’s lives. We partner with leading clinical and academic institutions around the world to develop systems and services that push the boundaries of image quality and workflow efficiency.

Inspired by our “Made for Life” philosophy, we are dedicated to providing healthcare solutions that address the real-world needs and concerns of patients, medical professionals, customers and partners. Working at Canon Medical Systems Europe you will get the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives while working with us.

The role

The Clinical Application Specialist is an important role for the Solution Business within Canon Medical, where it can be said that the rubber meets the road. It is the role of the application specialist to make sure our solutions are sold and used to their best possible value and perceived as such.

The application specialist plays an important role in the sales cycles, driving the “deal shaping” to make sure we offer our optimal solution and making sure our customers see the added value of the proposition of Canon Medical. Demonstrating these capabilities is another important task during the sales cycle.

In the implementation project, the application specialist is an important consultant; the bridge between the users and our technical implementation team. Tasks include managing the “user group” and writing functional descriptions of what the customer would like to achieve. A growing part of this work has to do with workflows, both functionally and information management wise.

In the after sales period, the application specialist visits our important customers, strengthening and extending our relationship with the doctors (and other users) and supporting them to optimally use the solution. Support tickets from users might also find their way to the application specialist, so they can get into contact with the users and make sure they get the most out of the solutions.
