Application Support Analys

Role Description This part-time remote Application Support Analyst role at معهد focuses on providing technical and functional support for business applications used by internal teams and external users. The analyst monitors application performance, responds to support tickets, investigates incidents, and performs root-cause analysis to resolve issues efficiently. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting application errors, guiding users through resolutions, documenting recurring issues, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams for bug fixes and enhancements. The role also involves maintaining support documentation and knowledge base articles, assisting with application configuration changes, and participating in testing after updates or deployments to ensure system stability and usability.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Application Support skills, including experience managing incidents, user requests, and configuration issues for business-critical applications.
• Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, such as understanding system behavior, basic networking or database concepts, and familiarity with ticketing or helpdesk tools.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose complex issues, interpret logs or error messages, and identify effective, timely solutions.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Candidates should ideally have experience in remote work environments, strong organizational and time-management skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
• Relevant education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
• Familiarity with common business applications, basic scripting or query skills, and experience with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.
