Application Support Analyst

Job Purpose

Application Support Analyst supports and provides resolutions for the Hospital Information System (HIS), Electronic Medical Record (EMR), and third-party applications integrated with the HIS systems for Sunway Healthcare Group.

Job Description

• Collect, analyse, and map business requirements to system functionality; perform system prototyping, including configuration and setup, testing, programming, user training, documentation, and implementation of system solutions.
• Establish and analyze business processes and workflows that efficiently support business operations, based on the client’s processes and the industry’s best practices.
• May install new software and troubleshoot any problems related to the performance of computer systems.
• Expected to provide support 24/7 to users on HIS/EMR system modules, data interfaces, and hospital departments’ workflows across different hospitals within Sunway Healthcare Group.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Bachelor of Allied Health Sciences, or a relevant qualification from a recognized university.
• Fresh graduate, or minimum 1 year of working experience in end-user management, and exposure to business requirements gathering, analysis, process engineering, and documentation.
• Knowledge of the infrastructure landscape, including servers, networking, security, and monitoring, if any.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
• Experience in hospital and clinical systems will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work on a shift basis.
