Application Support Analyst

The Opportunity
RWA People is partnering with Skyline Enterprises, one of New Zealand's leading tourism operators, to recruit an Application Support Analyst for their Queenstown-based technology team.
With operations across New Zealand and internationally, Skyline is an established and growing tourism business, offering the opportunity to support the systems that keep its attractions and customer experiences running smoothly.
Reporting to the Product Manager – Retail and Reservations, you'll provide technical application support across Skyline's global operations, working closely with operational teams, technology specialists and external vendors.
This is a great opportunity for someone with application support experience who enjoys solving problems, working with people and improving how business systems operate.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing Level 1 and Level 2 support for retail, reservations and ticketing POS applications.
• Investigating application issues, troubleshooting problems and identifying root causes.
• Supporting application configuration, user administration, system upgrades and deployments.
• Working with software vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Assisting with application testing, change requests and software releases.
• Identifying opportunities to improve application performance, processes and user experience.
• Supporting and guiding business users across Skyline's international operations.

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years' experience in application support, systems support or a related technical support role.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting business applications, ideally in a multi-site environment.
• Good understanding of application configuration, incident management and problem resolution.
• Exposure to retail, reservations and ticketing POS systems would be advantageous.
• Experience with service desk tools, software testing or Azure DevOps would be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving and a genuine interest in technology.
