Application Support (AS400)

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support for AS400/iSeries applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system/application issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Handle incident resolution and coordinate with relevant teams for complex issues.
• Perform testing and validation for system fixes, enhancements, and changes.
• Support application maintenance, including RPG/CL programs, batch jobs, and database-related activities.
• Monitor batch processes and ensure scheduled jobs run properly.
• Prepare technical documentation and incident/problem reports.
• Coordinate with developers, QA, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution.
• Perform system maintenance and support production deployments.
• Ensure system availability and operational stability.

Requirements

• Minimum S1 in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in AS400/iSeries Support.
• Good understanding of IBM AS400/iSeries environment.
• Familiar with RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2, SQL, and AS400 job processing.
• Experienced in troubleshooting, debugging, incident handling, and production support.
• Familiar with batch jobs, system monitoring, and application maintenance.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in banking/financial systems is preferred.
