Application Support (Bank)

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 technical and functional support for bank users, including incident investigation, troubleshooting, application health checks, and issue resolution.
• Manage user incidents and requests, assess business impact, implement workarounds, and ensure timely resolution in line with agreed SLAs.
• Work closely with L3 Support teams, vendors, and internal technical teams to resolve complex issues and ensure SLA adherence.
• Maintain accurate incident and request logs, prepare reports, and provide clear updates on business impact, resolution status, and root causes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support application and infrastructure environments, including Windows Server, Linux Server, and Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in L2 Application Support within Corporate Banking Domain.
• Strong knowledge of banking applications and products, including CASA, Loans & Lending, Treasury/Market Products, Accounting & General Ledger, Payments & Cash Management, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Experience supporting MAS and/or JFSA regulatory reporting, with exposure to technology risk management and IT infrastructure within financial institutions.
• Experience in application support, basic application health checks, and troubleshooting; exposure to Windows Server, Linux Server, Azure DevOps, or application development is an advantage.
• Experience with IT service management tools such as ServiceNow or Jira, and working with L3 Support teams and external vendors.
