Application Support

***1 Year Contract

We are looking for an Application Support professional to provide technical support for IT systems and equipment across project environments. This role is responsible for troubleshooting Hardware, Software, Operating Systems, Network, Server, and Application issues, as well as supporting project-specific systems and equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operations.

The position will work closely with supervisors, internal teams, and external vendors to monitor system performance, resolve technical issues, and maintain the availability of project-related IT systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT & Application Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Hardware, Software, Operating Systems, and Applications according to assigned responsibilities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users on the proper use of computers and related IT equipment.
• Investigate technical issues and coordinate with relevant teams or vendors for complex cases.

2. Project System & Equipment Support

• Provide technical support and maintenance for computers, IT equipment, and systems used within project environments.
• Support and maintain CCTV, Network, Software, and related project equipment.
• Monitor the availability and operational performance of project systems and equipment.

3. Network, Server & Application Monitoring

• Work closely with supervisors to monitor and evaluate the performance of Network, Server, and Application systems.
• Identify system abnormalities and perform initial troubleshooting.
• Follow up on technical issues and coordinate corrective actions to minimize service disruption.

4. X-Ray System Support

• Provide operational and technical support for X-Ray inspection systems used for detecting and screening goods and parcels on conveyor systems.
• Monitor system operation and report abnormalities or technical issues to the relevant teams.
• Coordinate with specialized technical teams or vendors when further support is required.

5. Coordination & Vendor Management

• Coordinate with internal staff and relevant departments regarding technical issues and project requirements.
• Liaise with external organizations, vendors, and service providers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Follow up on support cases and ensure issues are resolved within the required timeframe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in Application Support, IT Support, System Support, or a related technical role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Hardware, Software, Operating Systems, Network, Server, and Applications.
• Experience supporting project-based IT systems or working with vendors is an advantage.
• Able to troubleshoot technical issues systematically and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Service-minded, responsible, and able to work effectively in a project environment.
