Application Support Engineer 2

The Application Support Executive will be responsible for providing functional and technical support for the e-Samudra application Key Responsibilities • Provide first-level and second-level application support to end users.

• Monitor application performance and ensure uninterrupted availability of business services.
• Resolve user incidents and service requests through the ticket-based Incident Management System.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects, bugs, and functional issues.
• Coordinate with the development, database, infrastructure, and testing teams for issue resolution.
• Perform application configuration and support post-release activities.
• Maintain issue logs, change logs, and version control documentation.
• Support software enhancements, patches, and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Provide functional assistance and handholding support to DGS users.
• Prepare user manuals, FAQs, operational documentation, and knowledge base articles.
• Generate incident reports, SLA reports, and support metrics.
• Participate in change management activities and application maintenance throughout the O&M period. These responsibilities are aligned with the RFP's Application Maintenance and Support requirements.
