Application Support Engineer – Alfresco

About the role

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer / Content Management Administrator with strong experience in Alfresco Content Management. The role will focus on platform administration, configuration, troubleshooting, optimization, and technical support for enterprise content management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Alfresco content management systems and repositories.
• Configure, install, monitor, and troubleshoot Alfresco applications.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Alfresco.
• Configure workflows, permissions, and access controls.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure repository data integrity, security, and compliance.
• Support Alfresco platform optimization and complex business processes.
• Work with business and IT stakeholders to deliver appropriate technical solutions.
• Support multiple projects and ensure timely, quality deliverables.
• Assist with Alfresco integrations, APIs, and third-party tools.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5–7 years of experience in content management administration, with a focus on Alfresco.
• Strong knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Experience with Linux is required.
• Basic programming/scripting knowledge such as Java, Python, or scripting tools.
• Experience with Alfresco repository management, workflow configuration, and content retrieval.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good project management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
