What they need
We are looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer with expertise in Linux/Unix, Java, SQL, Shell Scripting, and ITIL. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in application support, incident management, ticketing tool, query management, and production support within the Capital Markets/ Banking or BFSI domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 production support for enterprise applications.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and production issues within SLA.
- Handle ticketing tools (ServiceNow or similar) for incident, problem, and change management.
- Troubleshoot application, database, and Linux/Unix-related issues.
- Support deployments, releases, and migration activities.
- Perform query analysis, root cause analysis (RCA), and issue resolution.
- Monitor application health and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high system availability.
