Role Overview

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer with strong exposure to OpenShift, Postgres/Oracle, and Splunk, and proven experience in incident management and problem management processes. The role involves providing Level 2 support for business applications, with opportunities to scale up to Level 3 responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for business applications, with potential to handle Level 3 tasks.
• Work independently across rotational shifts and night shifts.
• Diagnose and resolve applicationrelated issues, escalating complex cases when required.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors for system updates, patches, and enhancements.
• Assist with user onboarding, training, and documentation.
• Monitor application performance to ensure uptime and reliability.
• Manage service requests through GSN.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance standards are maintained.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Exposure to incident management and problem management processes.
• Experience supporting applications developed on Java or Python.
• Strong knowledge of databases (Postgres SQL, Oracle), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and networking basics.
• Ability to support applications running on OpenShift and Azure technologies.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
• Strong analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
