Role & responsibilities

• Monitor applications and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application performance, errors, and outages.
• Analyze logs, SQL queries, and system alerts to identify root causes.
• Provide support to users and coordinate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams.
• Handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Support application deployments, patches, and release activities.
• Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
• Follow ITIL processes and ensure compliance with change and incident management.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of application support, troubleshooting, and incident management
• Hands-on experience with SQL queries and database basics
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix commands and log analysis
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, Grafana, ELK, etc.)
• Basic scripting knowledge (Shell/Python) is a plus
• Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Jira
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in shifts or on-call rotation (if required)
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change)
• Quick learner with a proactive and customer-focused approach
