Application Support Engineer

Role Description The Application Support Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for providing technical and application-level support to clients and internal teams. This role involves monitoring application performance, diagnosing and resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to development or infrastructure teams as needed. The engineer will analyze incident trends, document resolutions, and contribute to knowledge base articles to improve support efficiency. Daily tasks include responding to support tickets, troubleshooting user issues, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and communicating status updates clearly and promptly. The role also involves participating in continuous improvement initiatives, assisting with application updates or deployments, and helping ensure stable, reliable systems for end users.

• Candidates should possess strong Application Support and Technical Support skills to handle user issues, system incidents, and configuration queries.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to investigate root causes, interpret logs or metrics, and recommend effective solutions.
• Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills to resolve software, configuration, and environment-related problems efficiently.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to interact with clients, teammates, and stakeholders in written and verbal formats.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems, incident management processes, and SLA-driven support environments is beneficial.
• Experience with SQL or basic database queries, APIs, or cloud-based applications is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and collaborate across time zones.
