Application Support Engineer

Application Support Engineer | Finance | Boston, MA | Up to $125k TC

This opportunity sits within a highly visible Application Support team responsible for maintaining and enhancing a suite of business-critical enterprise applications. The role is centered around Salesforce support, while also providing exposure to platforms such as Workday, Tableau, Investran, and other core business systems.

The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between technology and the business, working closely with end users, developers, infrastructure teams, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot issues, manage production support activities, and drive continuous improvements across the application landscape.

Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring application health and integrations, resolving incidents and user issues, supporting platform administration and access management, coordinating releases and upgrades, and identifying opportunities for greater automation and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working across multiple technologies, and having a direct impact on the reliability and performance of systems used throughout the organization.

What they're looking for:

• 2-5 years of Application Support, Production Support, or Enterprise Systems Support experience
• Hands-on experience supporting Salesforce in a production environment
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience managing incidents and working within ITIL-based support environments
• Ability to support integrations, data flows, and cross-functional applications
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Experience with SQL, AWS, Workday, Tableau, integration tools, scripting, or BI platforms is a plus
• Financial services experience is helpful but not required
• Salesforce certifications are a bonus

This is an excellent fit for candidates coming from Application Support Engineer, Production Support Engineer, Salesforce Administrator/Support, Business Systems Analyst, Enterprise Applications, or Technical Support backgrounds who want broader ownership and exposure within a high-performing technology organization.

Work Environment: Hybrid in Boston, MA (3 days in office)

Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 base salary + bonus
