Application Support Engineer

We are looking for a customer-focused Application Support Engineer responsible for handling users, troubleshooting application-related issues, and ensuring timely resolution of reported problems. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, technical troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to coordinate effectively with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle user queries and provide verbal/telephonic support in a professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues directly whenever possible.
• Guide users through application features, workflows, and common issues.
• Analyze reported problems and identify the root cause.
• Coordinate with Developers and Technical Teams for issues requiring development support.
• Follow up with developers to ensure issues are resolved within the required timeline.
• Keep users informed about issue status and provide timely updates.
• Reproduce application issues and share clear details with the development team.
• Maintain proper records of reported issues, resolutions, and user queries.
• Provide effective user support and ensure a positive user experience.
• Escalate critical or recurring issues to the relevant team for further investigation.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in Application Support / Technical Support.
• Strong communication and user-handling skills.
• Good understanding of application troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both users and developers.
• Basic understanding of databases/SQL and web applications will be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple user issues efficiently.
• Logistics/Courier domain knowledge will be preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
