Application Support Engineer

We’re hiring an Application Support Engineer

What you’ll do

• Provide L2/L3 production support for payment applications
• Lead incident and problem management, including detailed root cause analysis
• Troubleshoot application, middleware, database, and integration issues
• Monitor payment transactions, application performance, and system health
• Analyze transaction data to spot trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve
• Support releases, deployments, and production changes
• Deliver enhancements, bug fixes, and maintenance activities
• Take part in BCP/DR drills and operational readiness activities
• Recommend improvements to boost stability, productivity, and maintainability
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures, and support knowledge transfer
• Coordinate with business users, vendors, and infrastructure teams
• Support software upgrades, testing, and validation

What you’ll bring

• 3 to 5 years of application development and/or production support experience in the banking domain
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, Oracle, WebLogic, .NET, and BizTalk
• Working knowledge of payment systems such as FAST-RT, MEPS+, and Cross-Border Payments
• Good understanding of ISO 20022 messaging standards
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments
• Understanding of APIs and microservices
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI-CD practices
• Exposure to ITIL incident and problem management processes
• Understanding of JUnit, PMD, and SonarQube

Pay: $3,000.00 - $5,500.00 per month
