Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Executive with a strong background in providing technical assistance and support for the Cheque Truncation Systems (CTS) application. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating technical issues related to the CTS application. The role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and understanding of banking processes and functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level technical support for users of the Cheque Truncation Systems (CTS) application, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and technical issues promptly and effectively.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose application-related problems, identifying the root cause and implementing appropriate solutions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and system administrators, to resolve complex technical issues and ensure seamless application functionality.
• Document all user interactions, reported issues, and resolutions in a detailed and organized manner in the Application ticketing system.
• Prioritize and escalate critical issues to the appropriate teams while ensuring clear and timely communication to stakeholders.
• Assist users with installation, configuration, and updates of the CTS application, ensuring compliance with established procedures and best practices.
• Conduct remote troubleshooting sessions, guiding users through step-by-step instructions to resolve issues and optimize their application experience.
• Participate in user training sessions and workshops to enhance user understanding of the CTS application's features, functionality, and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and updates related to the CTS application and related technologies.
• Collaborate with the development team to provide feedback on recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance the application's usability and user experience.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in technical support roles, with a focus on supporting the Cheque Truncation Systems (CTS) application.
• Good to have familiarity with CTS application processes, functionalities, and technical aspects.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting application-related issues, both independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
• Experience with Application ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices for incident management and problem resolution.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, or similar are a plus.
