Application Support Executive

What we need

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science or similar
• 1–3 years in application or product support; HIS/EMR experience is a strong plus
• Basic SQL to query and verify data
• Understanding of hospital workflows (OP/IP, billing, pharmacy, lab) is a plus
• Clear communication in Tamil and English; patient with non-technical users under pressure

Location: KG Hospital, Coimbatore (on-site)
Working days: Monday to Saturday
Reports to: Program Lead, Digital (CDO Office)

About the role
Pistha 2.0 is the hospital information system live across KGH: registration, billing, EMR, orders, pharmacy and lab. You will be the first point of contact for doctors, nurses and staff using the application. Your job is to resolve their issues and to escalate quickly when you can't.

What you'll do

• Resolve application issues: logins, password resets, user roles and access rights
• Answer "how do I" questions and guide users through workflows in each module
• Investigate data issues, such as wrong bills, missing orders or stuck transactions, and fix them within your authorised scope
• Log, prioritise and track every issue in the ticketing system, and close the loop with the user
• Escalate application bugs and outages (P0/P1) to the KGISL engineering team with clear reproduction steps, screenshots and affected records
• Train new staff on Pistha 2.0, and run refreshers when workflows change
• Test fixes and updates before they reach users, and support go-lives
• Spot repeat issues and report patterns to the Program Lead

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
