Application Support Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a TMS Application Support Specialist to join an international team supporting and optimizing Transport Management System (TMS) solutions for logistics and transportation operations.

In this role, you will work closely with Logistics, Supply Chain, IT, ERP, Warehouse Operations, and business stakeholders to ensure stable system operations, resolve application issues, support integrations, and continuously improve transport-related processes across different markets.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of transportation, distribution, warehouse, supply chain, ERP, and TMS processes.

Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or AX2012 is highly valued, particularly in areas related to logistics, warehouse management, order flows, distribution, integrations, and finance.

Key Responsibilities * Provide application support to superusers and business users within the TMS environment.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, incidents, and service requests.
• Take ownership of tickets and application-related tasks through resolution and closure.
• Manage and prioritize the application support backlog in ServiceNow.
• Support and troubleshoot integrations between TMS, ERP systems, carriers, warehouses, and other logistics platforms.
• Support transportation and distribution processes including carrier booking, shipment execution, freight, labels, tracking, and order-to-delivery flows.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Supply Chain, IT, ERP, Warehouse Operations, and external technology providers.
• Identify opportunities for system and process improvements, standardization, and optimization.
• Support UAT activities, releases, testing, and validation of system changes.
• Prepare and maintain application documentation and process knowledge.
• Provide training and knowledge sharing to superusers and business users.
• Participate in projects and initiatives by providing business process and application expertise.
• Work with international teams and stakeholders across different countries and business units.

Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in IT, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.

• Previous experience in application support, business systems support, system consulting, ERP, TMS, logistics, or supply chain environments.
• Strong understanding of transportation, distribution, warehouse, carrier, order-to-delivery, and supply chain processes.
• Experience with incident, change, and service request management; ServiceNow experience is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, AX2012, or another ERP system is highly desirable.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into application or process improvements.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across Business and IT teams in an international and multicultural environment.
• Availability to travel when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $43,000.00 per month
