Application Support Specialist

About the role

Position based in Bandar Enstek, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Provide ERP (Microsoft D365) and application support across the Group of Companies. Work independently in a structured environment with minimal supervision, while maintaining open communication with the team and manager for periodic discussions as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Support and guide users to ensure MS D365 and other core business applications run efficiently.
• Handle application configuration, upgrades, troubleshooting, and issue resolution with users and vendors.
• Manage user accounts and access roles.
• Assist with application projects, including technical input and implementation support.
• Develop and maintain business reports using Cognos Analytics.
• Provide user training and create training materials.
• Maintain and monitor system interfaces and data extractions.
• Coordinate with vendors on projects, issue tracking, enhancements, and quotations.
• Work with service providers to fine-tune application performance.
• Track and optimize license usage and validity.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the design, implementation, support, and administration of ERP solutions (experience with Microsoft D365 is an added advantage).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PHP or Python.
• Experience with MS SQL Server databases.
• B2B application support.
• IBM Cognos for daily reporting.
• Experience supporting SFA (Sales and Forecasting Automation).
