Application Support - Transportation operator

Our client, an integrated transportation network leader is looking for a Application maintenance specialist to support internal system maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and documentation.

You will be responsible...

• Collaborate with the offshore delivery center to provide application support and maintenance for client systems.
• Manage application-related incidents and deliver timely end-user support.
• Coordinate with system users and the client’s IT team on system enhancements and changes, including bug fixes, patch deployments, configuration updates, and remediation of potential security vulnerabilities.
• Prepare and maintain relevant documentation, such as test plans, test specifications, migration forms, and deployment records.

You will be ideal if you...

• Holder of a recognized Diploma or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; OR
• Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience in application support, maintenance, or application development.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of and/or hands-on experience with Java.
• Knowledge of and/or hands-on experience with .NET applications in a Windows Server environment.
• Familiarity with database systems such as SQL.
• Basic knowledge of and/or experience working in a Unix/Linux environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as under pressure.
• On Site support is a must
• Open to occasionally support during non-office hours
