Application Systems Analyst / Team Lead

You will be responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting application systems for intranet/internet, client/server, and web platforms. Your work will include documentation, system upgrades, data conversion, migration, and continuous improvement. You will also help manage projects and coordinate with users, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and document user requirements
• Generate reports, test applications, and handle ongoing maintenance
• Perform user training, data conversion, and system migration
• Support and improve intranet/internet and web applications
• Do database design, performance tuning, and system administration
• Monitor application systems and provide support services (including liaising with users/vendors)
• Review and recommend IT hardware/software through technical evaluations and proposals
• Prepare operation procedures, drill plans, contingency plans, and technical reports
• Ensure contractor project deliverables are delivered on time and meet quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or above) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• At least 8 years of relevant IT experience in areas such as:

  • project management
  • user and vendor management
  • business/system analysis and design
  • system development and testing
  • configuration, customization, deployment, and administration

• Strong knowledge and experience in user and vendor management

• Security risk assessment and audit experience is an advantage

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an advantage

• Working knowledge/experience with: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, MSSQL, SCCM, Kubernetes, web services, and virtualization tools (e.g., VMware) is a plus

• Cloud computing knowledge/experience is a plus

• Strong communication, leadership, planning, and interpersonal skills
