Role Description The Application Tester role at Mecspot is a full-time position based in Singarayakonda with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home. In this role, the Application Tester will review requirements and specifications, design and execute test cases, and systematically test mobile and web applications to identify defects and inconsistencies. The tester will document test results, collaborate with developers and product teams to reproduce issues, and verify fixes to ensure application stability and performance. Daily responsibilities include regression testing, functional testing, usability checks, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools. The role also involves providing clear feedback on user experience issues and participating in planning sessions to help refine application features before release.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret requirements, identify edge cases, and analyze test results.
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Mobile Testing and working with Mobile Applications on Android and/or iOS platforms.
• Candidates should possess solid Application Testing skills, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Candidates should possess the ability to design, document, and maintain detailed Test Cases and test scenarios.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and test management tools is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to report issues clearly and collaborate across teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
