COMSOL India is seeking an Applications Engineer with a specialty in Acoustics to join its Bangalore office. We are seeking an individual with a strong background in acoustics modeling, wave propagation in fluids and solids, piezoelectric devices, surface acoustic waves, non-linear acoustics, aeroacoustics, or thermoacoustics is desirable, as well as any experience in multiphysics analysis.

Primary Responsibilities

• Interact with researchers and engineers to understand needs and provide relevant solutions based on the COMSOL product suite.

• Independently identify and create an action plan to enable customer fulfillment.

• Interact with COMSOL users to ensure achievement of customer business goals.

• Create industry relevant proof of concept models.

• Conduct training courses to help existing and new customers with COMSOL usage.

• Problem solving and analytical skills

• Willing to work with customers on a daily basis

• Strong presentation skills, both in-person and on-line

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong technical skills in numerical analysis, physics, and COMSOL Multiphysics modeling
