About the Role

We are seeking an Application Engineer to drive growth within our Connector Business Unit by identifying new business opportunities, developing products and customers, and managing product strategies across assigned markets. This role combines mechanical and electrical engineering expertise with product development, business development, and project management.

What You’ll Do

• Support sales growth: developing new business opportunities within the Connector Business Unit.
• Identify: new customers, projects, and product opportunities across assigned markets.
• Develop product strategies: based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales and other Engineering teams to manage new product development projects.
• Provide technical product training and support to sales teams, distributors, and customers.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Must have 3–5+ years of proven experience in the electronics industry is required, while familiarity with the Data Networking, Automotive, Industrial, or Medical markets is a plus.
• Technical Background: Mechanical/Electrical engineering background to handle new product development projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced technical degree (BSEE, BSME, or equivalent STEM field) strongly preferred.
• Skills: Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with Electronic Components, Project Management and Market Analysis.
• Travel: Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and customer site visits (mostly outside-the-office field sales).

Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
