Applications Engineer – Enterprise Cybersecurity Solutions

About the Opportunity
Our client is a global cybersecurity and secure-computing technology group delivering hardware-secured Cloud PC solutions to enterprise clients across APAC. Their platform is built on hardware-based network and data isolation, purpose-built for organizations where intellectual property protection and high-performance computing both matter — from government and finance to design and media production. We're retained to find their Applications Manager for the new Singapore entity.

About the Role
An Applications Manager to lead technical solution delivery for enterprise customers — bridging the product/engineering team and the commercial side of the business. You'll own solution architecture, proof-of-concept delivery, and technical customer engagement, ensuring solutions are correctly scoped, demonstrated, and implemented to meet each client's security and performance requirements.

What You'll Do

• Lead technical discovery with enterprise customers to understand security, compliance, and performance requirements
• Design and scope solution architectures leveraging the company's Cloud PC and secure-terminal technology
• Own proof-of-concept (POC) planning and execution, including technical validation in customer environments
• Act as the primary technical point of contact during pre-sales and post-sales implementation phases
• Manage a small team of application/solutions engineers (or individual contributors, if pre-team-build stage)
• Produce technical proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and solution documentation
• Serve as an escalation point for technical issues raised by customers or the sales team
• Feed customer and market requirements back to product/engineering teams at HQ

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in a solutions engineering, technical applications, pre-sales, or systems integration role
• Background in enterprise IT infrastructure, VDI/virtual desktop, cybersecurity, or networking — direct experience with VDI, thin/zero-client, or secure computing environments is a strong plus
• Comfortable leading technical conversations with enterprise IT/security stakeholders
• Experience managing or coordinating POCs/pilots in live customer environments
• Prior people-management or project-leadership experience preferred
• Strong written communication skills for technical proposals and documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
