Applications Engineer (Semicon Process)

• Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products.
• Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.
• Build mini-applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client.
• Provide software development and consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
• Ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications.
• Provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.

Qualifications

At least a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, or related discipline

Experience/ Knowledge & Skills

1. 2- 4 years of related professional experience in semiconductor process and applications
2. Knowledge and experience in implant technology will have strong advantage.
3. Ability to interface with multiple departments to ensure consistent and effective communication. Build relationships with customers/vendors/department contacts.
4. Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English sufficiently well to perform job functions.
5. Skilled at customer service, Microsoft products and general computer skills, enterprise software.
