Applied AI Solutions Engineer

About the Company

Put AI to work across a $4B+ enterprise. Our client, a large, publicly traded construction and building services company, is building a new Applied AI organization that bridges Technology and Operations. They are looking for hands-on Applied AI Solutions Engineers to turn AI into real, measurable results for their business teams.

About the Role

You will build and deploy AI solutions that automate workflows, speed up decisions, and remove manual work. You'll also train the teams who use them and drive adoption.

Responsibilities

• FOCUS AREA {Choose one:}
• Corporate Operations: Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Procurement workflows
• Operations: Service and field workflows, planning, dispatch, asset performance, and technician tools
• Engineering & Construction: Estimating, design, scheduling, procurement, field execution, and closeout

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and deploy AI solutions for internal business teams
• Automate document-heavy workflows, reporting, analysis, and knowledge retrieval
• Configure and deploy agentic AI tools
• Integrate AI workflows into existing enterprise systems
• Train non-technical teams and run pilots to drive adoption
• Measure the impact on cycle time, accuracy, rework, and productivity
• {E&C add: Automate RFI, submittal, specification, and drawing analysis}
• {Ops add: Improve planning, dispatch, asset performance, and repair time}

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software, data, IT, or technical implementation

Required Skills

• Hands-on LLM / applied AI experience in a business environment
• AI applications or workflows you've personally built and deployed
• Python, TypeScript, RAG pipelines, or low-code (Power Platform)
• Experience with agentic AI tools and workflows
• Azure experience (required)
• {Ops: Industrial or field-service workflow knowledge (CMMS, EAM, SCADA, IoT)}
• {E&C: Working knowledge of AEC / construction workflows (Procore, BIM, VDC are a plus)}

Pay range and compensation package

• $145,000 – $180,000 base salary
