Job Overview

Harders & Bradford Insurance Agency is looking for a warm, upbeat, and organized Client Relationship Appointment Setter to join our team.

In this role, you will call existing clients to thank them for their business, learn what else they need protected, and schedule review appointments with our licensed account managers and producers. You will focus on rounding out accounts with auto, home, and umbrella coverage, and on asking happy clients for referrals. If you enjoy talking with people and like seeing your calls turn into results, this is the role for you.

Location: Work from home, following initial in-office training at our Rockville, MD office

Schedule: Part-time, 4-hour shifts, Monday–Friday

Salary Range: $20.00 per hour

Requirements

• Outbound calling, appointment-setting, customer service, or inside sales experience (1+ year preferred)
• Friendly, confident phone presence and comfort making a high volume of calls each day
• Ability to ask for the appointment and the referral with professionalism and persistence
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; reliable follow-through on scheduled tasks
• Comfort with CRM or agency management systems, calendars, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-first approach
• Insurance experience a plus; a Property & Casualty license is not required at hire, and we support new team members who want to pursue one
• Team-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Quiet, distraction-free home workspace with reliable high-speed internet, and the self-discipline to hit call targets while working remotely

Responsibilities

• Make outbound thank-you calls to new and renewing clients, personally thanking them for choosing Harders & Bradford
• Call mono-line clients from agency-provided lists (for example, home-only or auto-only) and invite them to a review of their auto, home, and umbrella coverage
• Introduce personal umbrella coverage to clients with auto and home policies and schedule them with a licensed team member to discuss it
• Schedule appointments for account reviews, quotes, and coverage discussions on the calendars of licensed account managers and producers
• Ask satisfied clients for referrals of friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues, and log each referral for follow-up
• Send appointment confirmations, reminders, and thank-you notes by phone, email, and text
• Gather basic information needed ahead of appointments (current carrier, renewal dates, vehicles, property details) without quoting or giving coverage advice
• Route service requests and coverage questions to the appropriate licensed account manager promptly
• Maintain accurate call notes, outcomes, and follow-up tasks in the agency management system
• Work assigned call lists and campaigns (renewals, new clients, mono-line accounts) and track daily activity
• Collaborate with account managers and producers to share client feedback and improve the client experience
