Solar Appointment Setter / Field Canvasser

Forever Agency Group – Forever Solar & Roofing Division Albany & Capital Region, New York Forever Agency Group is looking for motivated, outgoing, and dependable individuals to join our Forever Solar & Roofing division as Solar Appointment Setters / Field Canvassers throughout the Albany and Capital Region.

Forever Solar & Roofing is the solar and roofing division of Forever Agency Group, focused on helping homeowners explore energy-saving and home-improvement solutions while providing our team with opportunities for growth and advancement.

This is a field-based position focused on speaking with homeowners, generating interest in residential solar, and scheduling qualified appointments for our Solar Sales Representatives.

You are not responsible for closing the sale. Your primary responsibility is to start the conversation, identify interested homeowners, qualify the opportunity, and schedule appointments for our sales team.

What You'll Do

As a Solar Appointment Setter, You Will Canvass residential neighborhoods throughout the Albany and Capital Region.

Speak directly with homeowners about residential solar opportunities.

Generate interest and identify homeowners who may qualify for a solar consultation.

Schedule qualified appointments for Forever Solar & Roofing Sales Representatives.

Accurately enter customer information and appointment details into our CRM.

Follow company scripts, training, and qualification guidelines.

Professionally represent Forever Agency Group and Forever Solar & Roofing in the communities we serve.

Follow up with potential customers when appropriate.

Work independently while remaining accountable to team and performance goals.

Maintain professional, respectful communication with homeowners at all times.

Comfortable working outdoors and walking residential neighborhoods.

Able to accurately track appointments and customer information.

Interested in building experience in solar, sales, marketing, or business development.

Previous solar, canvassing, appointment-setting, customer service, or sales experience is helpful, but not required .

We are willing to train motivated individuals with the right attitude, communication skills, and work ethic.

Training & Support

Forever Agency Group provides training and support through the Forever Solar & Roofing division, including:

Solar industry and product education.

Door-to-door canvassing training.

Appointment-setting training.

Sales scripts and conversation guidance.

CRM and lead-management tools.

Support from sales representatives and management.

Ongoing coaching and performance development.

Growth & Advancement

This position is designed to offer more than just short-term appointment setting.

Role High-performing team members may have opportunities to advance within Forever Agency Group and Forever Solar & Roofing into roles such as:

Solar Sales Representative → Team Lead → Area Manager → Regional or National Leadership Individuals who demonstrate strong communication, leadership, consistency, and results may be considered for additional opportunities as the company grows.

Territory

This position serves the Albany and Capital Region , including Albany and surrounding communities throughout the greater Capital District.

Reliable transportation to assigned territories is strongly preferred.
