Appointment Setter Virtual Assistant

Job Summary:
We're keen to bring on a confident and persistent Appointment Setter to support the growth of our digital marketing services for local businesses. This role focuses on outbound cold calling to home service businesses, introducing our SEO solution, and booking qualified appointments for our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable on the phone, handles objections with ease, and is motivated by hitting booking targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound cold calls to home service businesses from a provided lead database
• Set qualified appointments between prospects and the business owner
• Follow provided call scripts and objection-handling prompts consistently
• Log call notes, outcomes, and callback schedules accurately in the lead platform
• Work through assigned call lists efficiently while maintaining daily call volume
• Use an integrated dialer system to manage high-volume outbound calling
• Communicate prospect feedback and common objections back to the team
• Maintain accurate records to support performance tracking and reporting

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in cold calling and outbound appointment setting
• Excellent spoken English with clear, neutral pronunciation and strong phone presence
• Ability to handle rejection and objections professionally and persistently
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls daily
• Experience working with CRMs or lead management platforms
• Experience using a cloud-based dialer system
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow scripts and processes accurately

Preferred Skills:

• Experience calling into the US market, particularly West Coast time zones
• Familiarity with CloudTalk or similar VoIP/dialer software
• Background in selling or setting appointments for digital marketing, SEO, or local business services
• Experience working with home services businesses (contractors, trades, local service providers)
• Familiarity with Google Business Profile and local SEO concepts
• Ability to track personal performance metrics and self-manage toward targets
